More about the organisation
Sahasrabudhe Hospital & ICCU was founded in 2000 by Dr. Sameer Sahasrabudhe and Dr. Supriya Sahasrabudhe. After completing their MBBS and MD training at Grant Government Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, they returned to their ancestral home in Panvel. At the time, they recognized a significant gap in dedicated inpatient care facilities in both the public and private sectors, especially compared to the standards of care they had experienced during their training.
Over the past three decades, Panvel has transformed from a small town near Mumbai into a rapidly growing nodal urban center. This shift has brought evolving healthcare needs, transitioning from rural and semi-urban concerns to more complex urban health demands. The hospital has adapted alongside this change, has been NABH certified nursing home since XX and continues to serve people of Panvel and its surrounding areas by providing trust and timely emergency care, continuity in managing chronic and acute conditions, and ethical, evidence-based guidance, including referrals to higher centers when necessary.
The hospital is supported by a strong team of senior consultants, medical officers, nurses, technicians, and healthcare assistants. Its facilities include an emergency ward, a well-equipped ICCU with ventilators, general and special wards, and in-house radiology and pharmacy services.
